Biography

Simona has completed her higher education degrees at the University of Bucharest, Romania and the PhD thesis at the University of Nantes, France. After receiving her PhD, Simona gained further experience in resins and biosensors applications at Gwent Group in U.K. Dr. Serban has joined Purolite, Life Science division in 2012 strongly contributing to the development of new Purolite enzyme carrier resins, immobilized enzymes, resins for chromatographic separations and resins for peptide synthesis. Currently, Simona is the coordinator of the Life Sciences Application group focused on chromatographic, biocatalytic, and peptide synthesis applications.
