Dr. Ritamaria Di Lorenzo, Ph.D. is R&D Manager at the RD Cosmetics Research and Development Laboratory of the Department of Pharmacy of the University of Naples Federico II, where she designs and develops research projects in the fields of Personal care, Beauty, Hair care and transdermal delivery.
During her PhD in Drug Science, specialising in Cosmetic Chemistry, she was involved in the identification of new active ingredients and technologies from natural sources and up-cycling to be conveyed in cosmetic products.
In 2021, she was engaged abroad, in Spain, at the DermoCosmetic centre of the Institute of Advanced Chemistry of Catalonia (IQAC), in collaboration with L’Oréal R&I Group.
