Biography

Dr. Luísa Aguiar received her Chemistry Degree in 2012, having carried out both her Graduation and Master Thesis at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto. She pursued her Doctoral Thesis devoted to the synthesis and evaluation of novel peptide-drug conjugates with potential interest against neglected tropical diseases. Luísa concluded her PhD in April of 2019 and worked as a post-doctoral research fellow at Paula Gomes’s Lab before joining Gyros Protein Technologies in 2021 as Field Application Specialist.
