Dr. Bhubaneswar Mandal (Ph.D. from EPFL, Switzerland) is a Professor at the Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India. He pursued post-doctoral research at MPI, Dortmund, Germany, as a Marie Curie Fellow. His research interests include the self-assembly of peptides, disruption of protein aggregation, targeted protein degradation, and recyclable coupling reagent development for a green circular economy in peptide synthesis. He has authored over eighty articles in internationally reputed journals, some patents, a few book chapters, and a book. More than twelve doctoral students have received Ph.D. from his group. He has received several awards, including IGCW-2015.
